Weight Loss Success Stories

This is story about diet, "When my parents got divorced," he tells Christine, "I turned to food to find comfort." Christine, who now has 23 years and is a supervisor from M&S in Telford, once exceeded 120 pounds gave a turn to his life changing cities and starting the Dukan diet.

"I have always been bigger than most kids my age. My parents were happy because I was not as hard as other children: this, however, means that I ate everything that stood in front of me - and often it was much.

When my divorced, my mom is paired with another woman. Some kids did not understand what it meant to be gay: I have become the victim of bullying and I turned to food to find comfort.

At the time I was 16 years old, I weighed more than 120 pounds, and I didn't want to hang out with friends. I was a shut-out. I could not put nice clothes like the other girls. I thought that the men carrying out only to the beautiful girls, and I felt certain one of them.

I was in a vicious circle. I ate because I felt pathetic, then I felt guilty and eat even more to feel better. If I bought a packet of biscuits, I ate it all. I did not breakfast, but I loved going to the supermarket to buy biscuits and sweets to eat during the day.

Two years ago, I left London and I moved to Telford, I decided to change my life, in all senses.

I had read articles about the Dukan diet and I decided to start it.

The first ten days you eat only protein. For breakfast I prepared two poached eggs, as a snack mid-morning I ate a bowl of ham, and for lunch chicken fillets. For A snack, chicken breast with egg whites and, at dinner, more chicken and yogurt with bran, oatmeal, to facilitate the intestinal transit.

If I was hungry, I ate a bit of ham - in the Dukan diet you can eat at will. This system may seem boring, but in reality it is not! The first ten days I lost about 6 kg and I was fine.

In the second phase, the cruising, you introduce vegetables (except those rich in starch) every other day. I lost 25 kg in six weeks...I couldn't believe it!

Once you have reached the Right Weight, you can reintroduce fruit, foods rich in starch, bread, and cheese. In the end, you can eat anything you want, provided you have one day a week of sun proteins and physical activities.

Today I have lost more than 50 kg. I do cardio in the gym three or four times a week, and then a half hour of swimming immediately after.

I changed my hair color, I have made many new friends and I started going out with a work colleague. It helped me to have more trust in me. We're not still together, but at least I know that someone I find attractive.
